Sometimes all you need to do is clean the headphones and they’ll be back to perfect condition. Whenever you use headphones, you are increasing heat in your ear canal. When this happens, it can lead to more waxes and oils.
When these oils or waxes get on your earphones or headphones, they can block the mesh screen causing sound to fade and also expose your ears to bacteria.
To prevent dust, wax, or oil from building up on your headphones, I recommend cleaning them regularly. Most headphones can be cleaned easily using soapy water or hydrogen peroxide. Other things you may need to clean your headphones include a clean cloth, paper towel, and toothbrush.
